About the Role :
The Analyst of Finance is a key team member reporting to the VP, Finance, to manage all financial reporting and analytics functions for four service lines : Accountable Care Organization, Telemedicine, Advisory Services and Value-Based Care.
In line in collaboration with the business leadership and other centralized functions such as accounting, revenue cycle, corporate finance, IT, etc.
this individual will be critical in building and managing the infrastructure necessary for the success of those business line.
The individual will use exceptional financial and analytical acumen along with industry knowledge to support service line operational leaders to deliver outstanding performance.
The Details :
This is a virtual, work from home role. This role may require some travel for national meetings no more than 2 times a year.
In this role, you will be responsible for :
Budgeting and Forecasting :
- Support service line budgeting, forecasting and planning process
- Partner with key stakeholders internally to develop an understanding of business unit risks, and opportunities and incorporate those assumptions into the financial forecasts
- Coordinate with Sound finance to ensure alignment with company timelines and processes
- Support the development of communication / presentation materials with Sound executives
Decision Support :
- Operate and update decision support tools by leveraging relevant data and key assumptions from business leaders and colleagues
- Conduct financial impact analysis to support decisions and measure results
- Support Finance Director and VP of finance in modeling vendor deals, and support development of such agreements.
Performance Management :
- Support development of supporting financial reports service line leadership
- Develop reports and supporting documentation on service line financial performance
- Collaborate with operational teams lines to formulate, refine and operationalize strategies to achieve financial goals
- Collaborate with broader Sound centralized finance teams such as corporate finance, accounting, revenue cycle to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financials

Knowledge :
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or Finance (preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical, data driven decision maker
- Highly organized and ability to lead large projects and processes
- Strong financial modeling, excel and presentation skills
Experience :
- Finance or financial reporting experience
- Experience in risk-based or value-based care environment such as health plan or risk-bearing entity and medical group operations is a plus
