GENERAL DUTIES

Decontaminates and sterilizes instruments, medical supplies, and equipment and assembles, wraps, and sterilizes trays of instruments.

Follows proper Standard Precautions while in decontamination and sterilization areas.

• Processes endoscopes, scopes and / or probes.
• Assemble and wrap appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of applicable sanitary, infection control, and safety standards to perform all assignments within the safety parameters.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician)
