Role Summary :

The Assembly Operator Technician II is responsible for setting up, optimizing production runs, and performing quality checks on equipment.

This role is essential in maintaining the efficiency and continuous operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Complete the assembly process safely and efficiently.
  • Set up a wide variety of machine configurations, such as dip tube and mechanical parts changes.
  • Conduct quality checks and audits during production.
  • Measure, examine, and test assembly units to identify malfunctions.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
  • Identify and implement efficiency improvements, cost savings, and quality enhancements.
  • Participate in EH&S reviews and CI activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspections and production results.
  • Ensure outgoing products meet required specifications.
  • Escalate identified safety, quality, or performance issues.
  • Perform part changes, machine diagnostics, and root cause analysis.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and on-time delivery by running assembly machines if necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications :

Basic :

  • Basic shop math and computer skills.
  • Basic machine troubleshooting skills / potential to solve mechanical issues.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Able to analyze, interpret, and report data.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Willingness to assist other cross-functional groups as needed.
  • Good oral and written communication skills. Preferred :
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively.
  • Experience with continuous improvement and generating process enhancement ideas. Benefits :
