Job Description Electrical Designer :
Full-time position for an Electrical Designer at a small, growing, engineering firm in Riverton, UT. We want a fun, energetic, self-motivated, hardworking, and detail-oriented individual to join our team.

Responsibilities :
Assists in planning, developing, and coordinating electrical design solutions for commercial, industrial, and multi-family type projects including :
- AutoCAD and / or REVIT power and systems plans showing layouts of devices, circuiting, schedules for specification of equipment, and installation details.
- Load calculations and filling out panel schedules using MS Excel.
- Sizing conduit, cable, and distribution equipment (panels, switchgear, transformers, etc ) and developing one-line diagrams.
- Selection and specification of equipment and filling out equipment schedules.
- Assist with review of electrical equipment prior approvals and / or submittals.
- Responding to electrical and special systems plan review comments and RFI’s.
Qualifications :
- 2+ years’ experience in electrical design.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and / or REVIT.
- Familiar with National Electrical Code, NFPA, and building codes as it pertains to electrical and special systems design.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to be self-motivated and meet deadlines while working individually and in a team environment.
