Plaintiff personal injury law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to support a Partner.
Responsibilities :
- Calendar and manage court deadlines
- Prepare documents for filing
- Communicate with clients in an effective and courteous manner
- Assist with pre-trial preparation, including drafting trial documents and preparing exhibits
- Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Bring a team-oriented and positive attitude to Los Angeles office
Qualifications :
- Minimum 2 years of experience in litigation
- Experience with calendaring, dictation
- Knowledge of filing procedures, including e-filing
- Experience preparing deposition notices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience working in Personal Injury law a huge plus
