- Verify that the quantity and quality of goods received is consistent with the receiving slip
- Safely offload and storage of goods in the appropriate location
- Enter all goods received into the business system daily
- Maintain inventory controls and manage the periodic inventory count in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Ensure delivery of packages to the appropriate owner
- Complete all paperwork in a timely manner
- Deliver raw materials to the production floor from the warehouse as required
- Establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with freight carriers and suppliers
- Organize and clean the shipping and receiving areas as required
- Other duties as assigned by managementWhat you need to be successful :
- Working knowledge of raw materials, warehouse and production scheduling
- Strong forklift skills including driving vehicles indoors and outdoors
- Ability to communicate in written and spoken English
