Opportunities include weekday mornings, weekday afternoons, multiple opportunities on Saturdays and / or Sundays. You do not need to be available for all shifts to apply.
Salary range : $16.50-22.50 / hour depending on experience and availability and we offer a +10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities :
- Swim Instructors are enthusiastic and portray a positive attitude
- Relate positively to a variety of people including other staff, parents, and program participants
- Instructors must be organized, and eager to teach (lesson plans provided)
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Experience teaching swim lessons or previous competitive swimming experience is not necessary but preferred
- Proficient swimming and safety / rescue skills
- Professional, alert, courteous, and tactful
- Blood Borne Pathogens Training within 30 days of being hired
- YMCA Swimming Lessons Instructor and Red Cross Water Safety Instructor preferred
