Product Merchandising Manager
Location : Boston, MA
Schedule : 40 Hours, 4 days onsite and 1 day at home
Duration : 5 Months
Pay : Up to $36 / hour DOE
Planet Interactive is looking for a Product Merchandising Manager to join our well known retail brand on a 5-month contract! This role is 40 hours per week and will follow a hybrid work schedule, being onsite 4 days a week with 1 day at home.
Product Merchandising Manager Responsibilities :
- Manage the product lifecycle along with the team from concept to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Help manage the overall process and track the monthly product intake requests from the various regions.
- Evaluate and review the product from the perspective / process of price and value, consumer personas, and brand strategy.
- Lead weekly product meetings with design and development to make sure deadlines are being met.
- Help create and update visual line plans to ensure product information is accurate and accounted for.
- Manage samples process and data.
- Own the submission of range planning for the new product creation.
- Help share insights and consumer analysis with the team on what is trending, insights, and make recommendations.
- Work cross-functionally with partners and teams such as design, development, inline product merchandising, marketing, and more.
Product Merchandising Manager Qualifications :
- 3+ years' experience ideally in the footwear space.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience building presentations within Keynote and PowerPoint.
- Proficient with Excel.
- Attention to detail and able to manage multiple workflows at one time.
- A passion for the footwear and sneaker culture!
