Progress Container , a TRG company and subsidiary of Schwarz Partners is currently seeking a Structural Designer to support our Winder, GA facility! The Structural Designer will develop conceptual and structural solutions for customer specific to P.
O.P Display & retail markets.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION :
- Use knowledge & expertise to work directly with customer and / or sales at conceptual phase.
- Develop concepts and ultimately fully finished CADs for full scope of display delivery to customer.
- Work closely with production & Fulfillment to revise projects for maximum efficiency.
- Make recommendations to maximize sales, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide support to rest of team members where needed mockups, sample cutting, general lab duties.
- Accompany Sales Reps on occasion for present new products or designs to customers or prospects.
- Provide support with production art when needed
- Comply with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
Highschool Diploma / Five years’ experience in drafting or related field.
PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
Associates or Bachelor’s degree / Five years’ experience in corrugated design.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES :
- Artios CAD / CAPE.
- Decent typing & strong communication skills. Clear writing & good grammar.
- Ability to connect 2D & 3D.
- Proficiency with most standard industry software programs : Artios / Adobe / Microsoft office; preferred.
- Excellent time management skills & crisis management; preferred.
