Job Summary
Information Technology Services (ITS) at the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) is currently looking for a Technology Support Specialist in the Customer Care Department.
This position delivers on-site customer and computer endpoint support for the District Office.The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of delivering exceptional customer service in a Help Desk setting.
This role provides a tremendous opportunity to use your existing skill set while learning additional specialized technical skills such as imaging computers, utilizing endpoint management systems including Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), JAMF, and much more!

Essential Functions
70% - Provides customer service and computer endpoint support (Windows / Apple), hardware / software installation and troubleshooting, computer imaging;
responds to help desk tickets and requests; serves as an escalation point for the Tier 1 helpdesk.
15% - Utilizes endpoint management systems (MECM, JAMF, etc.) to create efficiencies, increase security, ensures environments and endpoints are up to date;
package applications and test deployment; creates, reviews, and audits reports; updates and tests operating system images.
10% - Maintains documentation, inventory, and security of equipment and processes.
5% - Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED and three (3) years of experience with desktop user support or technical support for equipment, networks, systems, telecommunications, or technology security, appropriate to assignment.
Desired Qualifications
A. Experience working in IT, preferably in a higher education environment
B. IT Related Certifications
C. Experience with endpoint management systems (preferably SCCM and / or JAMF)
D. Associate's Degree (or above) from an accredited institution
