Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated Community Association Attorney to represent our community association clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of community association law and demonstrate exceptional writing and analytical skills.

Responsibilities will include drafting governing documents, managing contract work, attending board meetings, coordinating board elections, prosecuting delinquent accounts, and, when necessary, handling litigation and trial work.

Key Responsibilities :

• Represent community association clients in legal matters, providing expert guidance and advice.
• Draft and review governing documents, including bylaws, covenants, and policies.
• Prepare and review contracts related to community association operations.
• Attend board meetings to provide legal counsel and address any issues that arise.
• Coordinate and oversee board elections, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
• Prosecute delinquent association accounts, including drafting demand letters and pursuing collections.
• Handle litigation, trial, and appellate work as necessary, including preparation of pleadings and motions.
• Stay current on changes in laws and regulations affecting community associations.

Requirements :

• Admission to the New Jersey Bar.
• Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in community association law.
• Clerkship experience is preferred; applications from current judicial clerks are welcome.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and board members.
• Knowledge of community association governance and related legal issues is a plus.
