Purpose The Pharmacy Technician under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist accurately and timely fills patient's prescriptions and will work in partnership and joint accountability with other team members to achieve Neighborcare Health's Mission, Guiding Principles and Goals.
The Pharmacy Technician Float under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist accurately and timely fills patient's prescriptions and will work in partnership and joint accountability with other team members to achieve Neighborcare Health's Mission, Guiding Principles and Goals.
In this position you will :
Accurately and efficiently complete all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing under the direct supervision of the pharmacist.
Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist's professional judgment.
Comply with Neighborcare policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and protect patient privacy and security. Handle cash drawer;
responsible for daily deposits and reconciliation.
- Place, receive, unpack and store drug orders. Maintains inventory. File and retrieve pharmacy records. Maintain assigned work areas and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
- Answers phone, triage calls, and answer inquiries as appropriate. Assist in training pharmacy staff. Able to interpret written prescriptions, perform pharmacy calculations, and maintain efficiency and accuracy.
Strong interpersonal and people skills; and be a team player who promotes a positive team environment.
Perform patient engagement activities such as patient outreach, medication adherence monitoring, and patient health outcomes monitoring.
Other duties as assigned.
Required qualifications for this position include :
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Active Pharmacy Technician license with the State of Washington.
Preferred qualifications for this position include :
- 1-2 years' experience in an out-patient setting.

Compensation
The wage range for this position is a Minimum $21.42 / hour up to $29.72 / hour Maximum.
Compensation will be determined based on years of relevant experience.
