Fox News is looking for a standout Associate Producer / Booker to join the Fox News @ Night team in our LA Bureau! As an Associate Producer / Booker, you will secure interviews with newsmakers and pitch original story ideas.
You know how to build contacts and develop unique sources. You are a proactive, passionate, and self-motivated individual who can handle breaking news well and effectively implement last-minute changes.
You are a team player who works well with various editorial staff, guests, and technical teams.A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESBook guests under the deadline pressure of a daily live showWork collaboratively with co-workers to determine the best approach to securing high-profile interviewsConduct in-depth research and pre-interviewsPitch unique stories and guests of interest to our audienceCoordinate and produce segmentsResearch a wide range of electoral, political, international, and economic topicsWHAT YOU WILL NEEDBachelor’s degree in journalism or related field of study preferred, or relevant experience3+ years of prior television (or similar) experienceAbility to work independently or with a larger group as needs dictateExperience in a live control roomExperience with I-News, Viz, and Daleta plusStrong writing skills and editorial judgmentA passion for current eventsSocial media savvinessPursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is : $61,000.
00-70,000.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical / dental / vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
