REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE :
2 years Electrical Assembly experience
2 years proven Mechanical Assembly experience
REQUIRED :
Circuit board assembly skills : both through hole and surface mount
Mechanical assembly skills
Basic computer skills
Candidate must be used to working with very small surface mount components by hand (in this position there is a lot of hand assembly).
Manual dexterity / sitting, bending, squatting, reaching, pushing / pulling.
Mechanically inclined and familiar with the use of hand and air tools
Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team.
Able to read a part and assembly print
Attention to detail and quality is a must
EQUIPMENT :
Familiarity with basic hand tools / meters : multi meters / wire strippers.
EDUCATION
Minimum High School Diploma
Prefer : Associates in related field.
MISC :
Ideally the candidate has familiarity with UL Industrial standards and ATEX / IECx (European and international quality) standards
Many of the tasks can be repetitive
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on occasion
Position will also include boxing and palletizing products for shipment

Typical day : receive work instruction / job order / pull parts from inventory / pull assembly docs and schematic from computer, assemble and test product
