The Product Management team is looking for an Associate Product Manager with a strong background in product lifecycle and Agile practices as well as strong communication and collaboration skills.

You will participate and lead both discovery and development to achieve a specific product goal. We ask that you are energized by building deep customer empathy, working with design and development, optimizing team processes, and using data to monitor project success.

Focused on Relativity's Automation Services Team, you will help create innovative solutions which empower our clients to confidently monitor and secure their Relativity instances.

Through close coordination with Relativity’s Security team, our clients and your own strong understanding of security best practices, you will own the discovery, building and delivery of meaningful tooling that strengthen Relativity’s security posture and delight our customers.

This is an amazing opportunity to lead a portion of Relativity’s vision while building deep customer relationships and working with designers and engineers in a culture of highly empowered product teams.

Your Role in Action

  • Work directly with product leads to build product strategies and goals and develop and share plans and results with relevant teams.
  • Ensure that products solve customer and business problems and are stable in production, satisfying scalability, reliability, performance, and business goals.
  • Meet with product users to obtain a comprehensive understanding of needs and constraints and anticipate the need to bring cross-functional teams together to solve problems.
  • Facilitate communication across internal teams, explain the value of new initiatives and drive conflict resolution across product development teams.
  • Conduct user and competitive research for products, report on key product metrics, and analyze and interpret data.
  • Divide large projects into iterative releases, test new features to ensure release equality, and prioritize the resolution of defects.
  • Maintain thorough understanding of products and present complex technological concepts clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Understand technical requirements for the completion of new initiatives and ensure their success.
  • Organize and engage in usability testing to define detailed interaction flows.
  • Develop internal- and external-facing go-to-market content.
  • Travel less than 10% based upon business needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years relevant work experience in product management at a technology company
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle, SaaS security best practices and Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge and experience conducting discovery and usability testing to gather customer feedback
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on company and team objectives with meticulous attention to detail in the creation and iteration of work
  • Excellent communications, facilitation and analysis skills coupled with strong business and technical acumen, including problem-solving and critical thinking.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of related experience working within a cloud or API-focused environment
  • Familiar with the process of software development, including API-first design principles and building security-focused functionality and tooling

Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.

The expected salary range for this role is between $94,000 and $142,000. The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity.

Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
