Job Description Summary
Manage day-to-day tooling activities such as sourcing of orders, picking and assembling tooling, managing changeover readiness, and training on systems / procedures relative to Tool Crib activities.
Job Description
- Scheduling tool assemblies to press plan
- Participate and maintain experimental tool trials
- Rebuild die blocks as necessary
- Receive new tooling
- Clean and press dies for tool sets in the forge.
- Maintain accurate tooling inventory and tool tracking.
- Coordinate with the press team to keep backup tools ready for the presses at all times.
- Ability to work self-sufficiently and be a positive example of the company culture.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized Tool Crib area.
- All other duties as assigned
This position is for 2nd shift (2 : 00pm-10 : 00pm).
Required Skills and Education
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Previous Tool Crib experience is required.
