Retail Account Representative - St. Joseph
Reports to : Department Team Leader
Department : Sales
Location : St. Joseph, MO.
Hours : Monday - Friday, Full-Time
Job Description :
Retail Account Representatives are responsible for producing maximum sales and distribution of draft and / or package products and providing quality service to all customers on an assigned route.
The Retail Account Representative’s primary duties include the implementation of approved Company programs and policies that will result in the achievement of sales volume and merchandising goals while effectively presenting the Company’s brands to the retailer and the consumer.
The Retail Account Representative is expected to monitor and control inventory levels for each account by conducting a physical inventory and restocking all coolers and in-store space and displays to provide maximum availability of products while maintaining quality control and freshness standards.
The Retail Account Representative is responsible for negotiating, obtaining, maintaining, and updating all Point-of-Sale materials at each retailer’s location.
The Retail Account Representative is responsible for maintaining current knowledge of all supplier's brands and packages, pricing information, and promotional / marketing activities.
The Retail Account Representative is responsible for learning the retailer’s business and customer base in order to maximize the partnership between that retailer and the Company.
The Retail Account Representative is responsible for maintaining strong, productive relationships with all customers to facilitate sales.
Servicing includes, but is not limited to moving and lifting 25 35lbs during rotation, merchandising, and storing our products.
The $2000 Sign-On Bonus will be paid throughout the course of the employee's first year in the following increments. A payment made at 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and at the one-year anniversary.
Basic Qualifications : Qualified applicants will have communication, merchandising, and selling skills. A Class E driver's license is required with the ability to show proof of insurance and safe driving in personal vehicle.
Applicants will have a track record for work ethic, basic computing skills, and excellent customer service. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
Education : High school education required.
Experience :
