Leverage your US GAAP accounting knowledge and experience to provide sound accounting guidance for company transactions in compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
As a representative within the Chief Accounting Officer’s organization, this role is a key participant in the policy development, update, delivery of policy training and guidance to support the accounting of financial transactions (excluding those related to orders and revenue recognition), M&A integration and finance projects implementation.
You will use your analytical skills to review financial accounts and be a key member of the core team implementing accounting policies and system solutions, controls, and processes.
The position requires a hands-on team player who has strong technical and business acumen and the ability and flexibility to work well in a dynamic global environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as internal technical accounting resource during the planning and accounting for transactions excluding those related to orders and revenue recognition
- Research technical matters and prepare timely and comprehensive policy interpretation and guidance
- Assist with relevant policy development, interpretation and application
- Lead policy training, from planning to development to global delivery, both live and through web-based courses
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of key finance policies by understanding systems, the flow of transactions, internal controls and recommending efficiency and effectiveness improvements.
- Ability to analytically review financial statements and accounts
- Support finance systems implementation and enhancements
- Participate in the review of quarterly reports provided by the business and support groups
- Support the company’s compliance with audit and SOX requirements
- Assist the external reporting team in certain compliance related activities
Requirements
- BS or BA in Business or Accounting, CPA certification is required
- 5-7 years of experience in Accounting / Finance, including National CPA firm experience
- An ability to understand complex transactions and provide guidance and interpretation that is compliant with Applied’s policies and US GAAP
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate the effective writing of internal and external documents
- Excellent organization skills and the ability to handle multiple competing tasks simultaneously.

U.S. Salary Range :
$124,000.00 - $170,500.00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
