A Data Analyst at Snowbird Agility gathers and analyzes data to provide insights that help organizations improve and grow.
They make this data accessible to those who need the information to streamline business processes. A Data Analyst works effectively with multidisciplinary Agile teams to help them identify What good looks like, and develop hypotheses.
A Data Analyst collects data from digital analytics and other sources, makes the case for additional tracking and data collection, ensures data is accurate and significant and provides analysis and actionable insight through effective storytelling.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :
- Using data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns
- Organizing and transforming information into comprehensible structures
- Using data to predict trends in the customer base and the consumer population as a whole
- Performing statistical analysis of data
- Using tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs
- Preparing reports and presenting these to management or clients
- Identifying and recommending new ways to save money by streamlining business processes
- Monitoring data quality and removing corrupt data
- Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements
- Support teams to identify what good looks like and develop hypothesis
- Work closely with user researchers to combine the what’ and why’ of user behavior
- Produce accurate, engaging and actionable analysis of online and offline data sources to derive priority user needs and user behavior
- Provide recommendations for action based on user data in easily understandable and engaging ways
- Some out-of-state travel required, on a quarterly basis at a minimum
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)
- 5+ years of experience in medium to large organizations
- Bachelor’s degree
- Some experience working in support of healthcare or healthcare technology environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
- Able to analyze and to think quickly and to resolve conflict
- Able to adapt to a changing environment
- Skilled at supporting multiple clients at a time
- Self-motivated, and able to maintain a professional, positive, can-do attitude while staying focused in the middle of distraction
- Experience working with Agile teams a plus
