Overview

The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform has thousands of students looking for online CLEP English Literature tutors nationally. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from home.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1-on-1 online tutoring for CLEP English Literature.
  • Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
  • Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
  • Get matched with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise.
  • Provide personalized instruction and adapt to different learning styles.
  • Invoicing and payments are handled by Varsity Tutors; you invoice for your tutoring sessions.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Expertise in CLEP English Literature and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
  • Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
  • Priority given to candidates with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education.

    • Compensation

  • Base contract rates start at $18 / hour and increase for specialized subjects, with potential to earn up to $40 / hour when tutoring the same student over time.
  • Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions conducted and invoiced.
