Salary : $130,000 - $140,000 annually
Bonus : 10%
Travel : Limited (potential annual team meetings in Buenos Aires or Sao Paulo)

Join our dynamic team as a Manager Legal and US Government Affairs at our Miami office, where you will be the cornerstone of our legal operations, ensuring our compliance and steering our interactions with US regulatory and law enforcement agencies.
This role offers the opportunity to engage directly with multiple facets of the telecommunications industry, emphasizing data privacy and regulatory policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with US federal and state agencies.
- Coordinate and support company efforts to meet regulatory requirements, including handling government subpoenas, consultations, and requests for surveillance.
- Foster internal awareness of U.S. regulatory policies and ensure company divisions are up-to-date with procedural changes that may affect reporting or require federal pre-approval.
- Oversee corporate transactions and regulatory filings across multiple regions, including the US, USVI, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Panama.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external counsel, managing their advice and ensuring cost-effective legal services.
- Provide proactive legal and regulatory guidance to support the company's daily operations and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education : US Law Degree (JD) required.
- Experience : Minimum of 5 years in a legal role, preferably with exposure to regulatory or governmental agencies within the telecommunications sector.
- Citizenship : Must be a U.S. citizen residing in the United States or its territories.
- Language Skills : Fluency in English required; proficiency in Spanish preferred, Portuguese is a plus.
- Skills : Exceptional interpersonal abilities, strong ethical standards, and the capacity to handle sensitive information discreetly.
