Description
Provides leadership and direction to a team of Schreiber Logistics planning partners who have the primary responsibility for day-to-day execution inventory to order management.
Collaborates with business areas to identify planning needs and opportunities. Works together with appropriate other areas of the business to collaborate on processes.
Identifies opportunities for process improvement and relationship management with suppliers.
This position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule located at our Home Office in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The hybrid work schedule is 2 days onsite (Tuesday & Wednesday) at Home Office and the remainder from home.

What you’ll do :
- Develop a team culture of continuous improvement / transformation, accountability, influence, and advocacy of change through partners, systems, suppliers, and processes for the Schreiber Logistics Planning Team.
- Responsible for aligning the planning team around the logistics strategy.
- Help coach and guide a strategic partnerships between the planners and key account managers.
- Assist with the creation and communication of objective measurement in support of managing supplier service levels.
- Develop and stay current on industry best practices.
- Represent Schreiber Logistics on cross-functional projects.
- Work with key internal stakeholders to problem-solve and minimize service outages.
- Works collaboratively across the organization to ensure Schreiber Logistics initiatives align with the mid and long-term organizational strategies.
What you need to succeed :
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field..
- 4+ Years of customer or inventory planning experience.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics industry best practices.
- Demonstrated knowledge of building and developing end-to-end, best practice processes.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to influence, transformative thinking.
- Ability to travel up to 15%.
- Must have a reliable internet connection (minimum 10 mb download speed) at home for remote and hybrid positions.
