Job Description

Ensure quality application of powder coatings to fabricated components. Prepare manufactured products for powder coating by blasting and chemically washing off products prior to coating.

Assist in moving carriages and carts in and out of spray booths. Clean and maintain powder coating guns and equipment. Thoroughly clean booths during each color change.

Troubleshoot powder coating equipment. Touch up and rework material as necessary. Perform any other duties assigned or directed by Team Leader or as production needs require.

Maintain good housekeeping and follow established safety procedures. Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions including Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analysis (JSAs), and Safety Manual.

Maintain awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities;

report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.
