What You’ll Be Doing :
- Personal Care : Provide essential personal care services, from assisting with daily activities to ensuring patient comfort.
- Communication : Share vital information with healthcare professionals and document patient care accurately.
- Vital Signs : Monitor and record vital signs, following facility protocols.
- Respect & Dignity : Deliver care that respects patients’ cultural diversity, autonomy, and dignity.
- Stay Sharp : Participate in continuing education to stay up-to-date with state requirements and best practices.
What We’re Looking For :
- Qualifications : Completion of a state-approved nursing program or competency evaluation, and current CNA certification.
- Experience : At least 12 months of experience as a CNA in a healthcare setting.
- Certifications : Current CPR certification, TB-2 Step, Quantiferon, or CXR.
- Skills : Ability to handle potential exposure to bodily fluids and other materials, and to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
Work Environment :
Dynamic Settings : Work in various client facilities with potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
