Desert Regional Medical Center is a 385-bed acute-care hospital classified as a stroke receiving center and level 2 trauma facility with an innovative, patient centered and evidence-based Rehabilitation Services Department.
Our compassionate team provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including acute care rehabilitation, joint replacement & spinal surgery, neurosurgery, ICU, Telemetry, step-down care, skilled nursing, as well as outpatient therapy, hand and lymphedema clinics.
Summary
At the direction of a Registered Physical Therapist, performs patient treatments as indicated by the treatment plan. Documents treatments given, including frequent and objective measurements.
Works with neonatal through geriatric patients with clinical competency. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.

Qualifications
Education
Required : Associates degree in Physical Therapist Assistant, Active U. S. military service members or veterans with any military service, training or education verified and credited by an accredited PTA program is acceptable
Experience Preferred : 1 year experience Certifications
Required : CA PTA State License
Pay Range : $25.67 - $34.51
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience
