We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a File Clerk in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role is in the financial services industry, where you will be tasked with reducing both paper and digital files, verifying documents against an internal database, and managing documents in a digital system.

This position will be based in a workplace that values accuracy and organization.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and reduce paper and digital files in preparation for a future move
  • Verify documents against an internal database to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Scan and upload documents into the document management system
  • Destroy duplicate paper files to maintain an organized and efficient filing system
  • Perform clerical duties such as answering inbound calls and correspondence as necessary
  • Handle documents such as wills, estate documents, tax returns, etc. with confidentiality and precision
  • Utilize skills in document scanning and photocopying to assist with document management
  • Comfortable with answering inbound calls in a professional manner
  • Ability to create charts and graphs for data presentation
  • Proven experience in clerical duties including filing, data entry, and record keeping
  • Excellent correspondence skills for effective communication
  • Proficient in document scanning for digital record keeping
  • Experience with photocopying and scanning documents for record keeping and distribution.
