Responsibilities of the Tax Accountant :
- Preparing and reviewing corporate, partnership, trusts, estates, fiduciary, individual and various other tax return
- Conducting complex tax research projects for individuals and clients in diverse industries
- Managing a book of business and / or participating in marketing-related activities
- Ensuring complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing expectations and meeting deadlines
- Attending professional development and continuing education sessions on a regular basis
Qualifications of the Tax Accountant :
- Strong technical skills pertaining to tax preparation and review, tax compliance, agency correspondence and tax research
- Ability to problem-solve and think both creatively and logically
- Outstanding leadership, mentoring and interpersonal skills fostering client and internal relationships
- 3+ years tax experience required in a CPA firm setting
- CPA Certification, or Enrolled Agent Certification is a plus
Location : This role is full-time onsite.
Compensation : $70,000 - $110,000 depending on experience.
