Description :
- The Supply Chain Planner is a key team member who owns compiling and executing on supply forecasts to support sales channel demands.
- They own regular interaction with external vendors and internal cross functional teams such as demand planning, allocation planning, and sales channel partners.
- The Supply Chain Planner will collaborate closely with multiple teams in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.
- Optimize customer experience by ensuring timely resolutions and proactive support.
- Consolidate demand inputs and partner cross functionally to create a supply plan that supports enterprise strategies and goals.
- Generate, analyze, and monitor open purchase orders to ensure system integrity and on time delivery, holding vendors accountable for delivery performance.
- Establish and maintain business relationships with Vendors, Channel Managers, Logistics, and Allocation Planning teams to ensure supply availability.
- Govern supply levels following enterprise financial targets and metrics
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned by business management as needed.
- Partnering cross functionally to problem solve issues with lifecycle, vendors, supply constraints or excess. Lead meetings internally and externally.
- Summarize open issues for peers and / or leadership. Provide read out of supply status and tracking to metrics.
- Actively participate in meetings as applicable. Reply to emails.
- Resolve outstanding PO and / or ASN issues in partnership with Logistics team.
Qualifications :
- 3-5 years of supply chain experience including external vendor facing experience.
- Minimum 5 years supply chain experience, preferably in the supply planning and purchasing function.
- Understanding of supply chain systems and structures.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and in teams.
- Ability to connect work within the functional area to upstream and downstream processes in the supply chain.
- Practical knowledge of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).
- Proficiency in Excel, including basic formulas and pivot tables.
- Experience with SAP ECC or fulfillment systems is preferred.
- High level of comfort with Microsoft suite of products with key emphasis on Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- MRP system experience; ideally o9 or SAP
- ERP system experience; ideally SAP or Oracle
- High comfort level learning and adapting to new systems.
