Duties / Responsibilities :
- Create export bookings with ocean carriers.
- Coordinate ocean export shipments from supplier's facilities to the pier / rail ramp.
- Receive and enter container packing list details.
- Timely management of multiple lines of communication between suppliers, ocean carriers, customers, and departments within the company.
- Maximize profitability by requesting and compiling rates for trucking, (dray, OTR, trans-load).
- Arrange trucking.
- Track inventory.
Required Skills / Abilities :
- Extensive knowledge of trucking and ocean export process.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to multi-task, work within time constraints, and perform under pressur e.
Cie-Trade experience preferred.
Minimum of 2 years customer service experience in an office environment .
