Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and drive clinical laboratory strategy while ensuring adherence to CLIA and CAP regulatory requirementsLead process improvements to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity within laboratory operationsConsult and approve standard operating procedures for diagnostic testing and ensure compliance with state and local regulationsRequired Qualifications and EducationDoctoral Degree in a Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Science from an accredited institutionCurrent certification as Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist or appropriate categorical certification5+ years post-certification experience reviewing and signing out clinical test reportsStrong leadership experience in a matrix or cross-functional environmentDemonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively
