Your Role

Join Atlas Copco Comptec LLC as a Production Planner where you will manage the internal and external logistics of manufacturing a customer order.

You will also provide updates to the scheduling team weekly. As part of the Scheduling Team, you will report to the Order Center Supervisor and work with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and project management groups.

This is an on-site position located in Voorheesville, NY.

• You will review the Inspection & Test Plan to assure that all quality requirements are relayed both internally and externally.
• You will release purchase requisitions and provide quotation packages for project material promptly to ensure production schedules can be met.
• You will maintain material master scheduling data for project-specific materials, including procurement type, in-house production time, and special procurement types.
• You will monitor schedules and send inspection notifications to the Scheduling Team and Project Management Team.
• You will attach Routings to parts.
• You will attend weekly project team meetings.
• You will convert Planned Orders to Production Orders.
• You will print Production Orders.
• You will process Engineering changes and non-conformance reports.
• You will assemble Build Books & Weld Logs.
• You will flag Dismounted Components in SAP.
• You will disposition Material Carts.
• You will place completed units into the Green Tag Process.
• You will take Photos as required and add them to the project Workspace.
• You will help provide Weld and Device Counts to Scheduling.
• You will update the daily job progress in the Unit Assembly OneNote file.

To succeed, you will need

• You hold a High School Diploma.
• You have 1+ years working in the same or similar function. College work may be substituted for some experience.
• You can learn manual and computerized procedures.
