3+ years developing ETL integrations

3+ years implementing batch and real-time (event-based and API) data integration frameworks and applications

3+ years with Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Cloud Application Integration (CAI) for bulk data ingestion

3+ years integrating Informatica Cloud with applications like Salesforce and Workday

Nice to Have :

Experience in Higher Education

Familiarity with Agile / Scrum practices

Workday implementation experience

Experience with AWS services like AWS DMS, Amazon S3, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Redshift, Airflow, and more

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Computer Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities :

• Mentor the team on creating and implementing Informatica IICS integrations.
• Contribute to the design of IICS integrations for future HR and financial systems.
• Regularly meet with the Development team and leads.
• Participate in stand-up meetings and Sprint Reviews to report work status.
• Collaborate with Functional Business Analysts and Testing Leads to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience working in Higher Education
• Agile / Scrum experience
• Workday implementation experience
• Expertise with AWS services such as AWS DMS, Amazon S3, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Redshift, and Airflow
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment
• AWS certifications and Python coding experience are advantageous

Software and Tools :

• JIRA for issue tracking and resolution
• Potential use of GitHub in the future

Project Overview :

The UW-Madison Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system will transition to Workday on July 1, 2025, replacing the existing PeopleSoft systems for HR and finance.

The new system aims to streamline processes, reducing time spent on redundant tasks and increasing focus on projects that support teaching and learning.

The ERP Ancillary Systems Program (ASP) is collaborating with the Administrative Transformation Program (ATP) and various UW-Madison entities to ensure that over 800 systems interacting with financial or HR data continue to operate seamlessly post-Workday deployment, with ample support provided to system owners throughout this transition.
