About the Role

As a Product Development Specialist at EHPlabs, you will play a key role in bringing innovative product ideas to life. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, R&D, and supply chain, to ensure that all products meet company standards, market demands, and regulatory requirements.

You’ll be responsible for overseeing the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, while ensuring that our products align with the EHPlabs brand and ethos.

Location : This is a remote role open to candidates in the U.S. and Canada. Preference will be given to candidates based in the following metropolitan areas : Salt Lake City, UT;

Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Toronto, ON; and Vancouver, BC.

Responsibilities

Product Development

  • Collaborate with the CEO, Operations, and Marketing teams to generate new product ideas based on market trends and consumer insights.
  • Work cross-functionally with R&D, flavoring, packaging, sourcing, and quality assurance to develop and refine product formulations.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure key development milestones are achieved within budget and on time.
  • Oversee product testing processes, including sensory evaluations, stability tests, and consumer trials.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including product specifications, ingredient lists, and test reports.
  • Ensure all products comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements in all global markets.

Supplier & Stakeholder Management

  • Identify and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, ingredients, and packaging.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure product quality and cost-effectiveness.

Launch & Post-Launch

  • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to develop product launch plans and promotional materials.
  • Provide technical support and training to internal teams and external partners.
  • Monitor product performance post-launch and gather feedback for future improvements.
  • Participate in post-launch reviews to improve the product development process for future projects.

About You

  • You bring 2-5 years of experience in product development, preferably within the health, supplement, or fitness industries.
  • You possess strong project management skills, ensuring that all tasks and timelines are managed effectively, and thrive as a self-starter.
  • You are highly detail-oriented, creative, and able to think critically to solve complex problems.
  • You are passionate about health, fitness, and continuous improvement.
  • You ideally have 1-3 years of experience within the active / lifestyle / sports supplements or functional beverages industries.
  • You have a good understanding of product pricing, packaging and positioning
  • You demonstrate the ability to think creatively and develop innovative product development strategies.
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Salary Range (USD)

$70-80k depending on experience and geographic location.
