Job Description

The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking to hire Pack Life Ambassadors (PLAs) for Fall 2024. In this role, you will work closely with the RLHFS Marketing and Outreach Coordinator to provide residence hall tours and promote living on campus.

Pack Life Ambassadors (PLAs) will provide support for the Nevada Bound Tour days. Most tours will be on Fridays throughout the semester with a few Wednesday tour dates.

PLAs should be available to work Friday afternoons from 12 : 30 pm to 3 : 00 pm.

Required Qualifications

Candidate must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno

Candidate must currently live on campus or has lived on campus

Candidate must be able to work a minimum of 6 tours for Fall Semester

Candidate must have a positive attitude to share about living on campus

Candidate must be personable and have good customer service skills

Candidate must have the ability to speak in front of groups

Schedule

Leading NV Bound Housing Tours, you will be required to sign up for 6 NV Bound dates, based upon your schedule.

Tours will include 3 buildings and require 1 hour of work. We have 2 shifts of tours; one tour shift will begin at 12 : 45 pm and the second tour shift will begin at 1 : 45 pm.

Compensation Grade

For every time that you lead tours, you will earn $20 FoodBucks that will be added to your WolfCard the following week.
