The Procurement Senior Specialist is responsible for the preparation of bid documents, rf(x) and issuance or purchase orders.
Under minimal supervision, will be responsible to develop key procurement documents to be included in the rf(x) process.
Will provide input on strategic procurement planning for various categories. The Procurement Senior Specialist will develop, in accordance with the Procurement Manager's direction, the procurement plan to meet project and business objectives.
Will also be responsible for the assembly and administration of any purchasing related documents to support the Procurement Manager or Director Procurement.

- Prepares purchasing documents
- Reviews purchase requests for pertinent and accurate information
- Prepares and processes purchase orders for materials and equipment and e-qualification of suppliers and subcontractors
- Maintains proper documentation of the procurement processes such as procurement execution plans, purchase orders, work orders, and supplier agreements
- Complies will all applicable processes and procedures
- Subject matter expert for all procurement software
- Assists with prequalification process for all bidders
- Develops, communicates, and administers approved supplier list
- Manages the supplier qualification process

Show your expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related required
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred
- Apics Certification preferredas assigned
- 3+ years of Procurement / Sourcing experience
- Experience working in Procurement in manufacturing, energy, oil & gas, high tech or construction environment
- Experience working in projects in a construction / project environment preferred
- Project management experience is desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong business acumen
- Strong project management skills
- Exceptional organization and coordination skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
- SAP, Oracle, Ariba experience preferred
