Your role and responsibilities

As the Senior Retirement Analyst at ABB, you will be responsible for delivery of U.S. and Puerto Rico benefit operations, vendor management and benefit program delivery to employees, managers, human resources business partners (HRBPs), and other stakeholders.

This role focuses on working with internal customers, retirement vendors, and delivering subject matter expertise in all aspects of Retirement plans.

This role is open to remote candidates in NC / SC / VA / MD, or a hybrid-remote role if in the Greater Cary / Raleigh area (#LI-Remote).

You will be mainly accountable for : - Managing relationship and monitoring performance against service level agreements with benefit carriers - Comprehending, interpreting, and communicating complex benefits regulations and documents - Consulting with internal customers and vendors to ensure cases are resolved timely, accurately, and efficiently - Resolving complex ServiceNow cases in accordance with the Key Performance Indicators, while also providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications for the role

  • A relevant Bachelor's degree with 4 or more (4+) years of benefits administration experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • In-depth knowledge of defined contribution and defined benefits retirement plans
  • Understanding of benefit laws and regulations : ERISA, Benefit Plan Reporting / Filing Requirements
  • Must be results oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects, shifting priorities, and meet tight deadlines
  • Advanced Excel and demonstrated Presentation skills
  • Must have prior experience with a Human Resources Information System
  • Must maintain confidential information discreetly and protect employee privacy
  • HCM systems experience in SAP and / or Workday preferred.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
