We are currently seeking an experienced Account Manager to play a key role in our company. This opportunity will allow you to use your creativity and innovation in the continued growth of our energy efficiency practice.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, audit and sell energy efficient lighting, transformer, VFDs / motors and mechanical improvements, among others to current and prospective clients.
- Utilize existing relationships to strategically develop opportunities for sales activities and company growth.
- Meet quarterly and annual sales quotas by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects.
- Conduct on-site energy assessments, quoting energy efficient lighting solutions and winning the business.
- Assist with preparing proposals and sales quotes.
- Conduct accurate and complete lighting assessments by collecting existing data to recommend the proper energy efficient measures and generating a detailed proposal based on findings.
- Travel to projects as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree (Masters’ degree preferred) in Engineering, Business or related field.
- 3+ years of energy sales and marketing experience including Design Build, ESCO, ESPC, energy audits, energy monitoring, engineering, demand side management, solar, bio-mass and / or renewable technology solutions.
- 3+ years of industry experience in lighting retrofit, energy efficiency, or similar fields.
- In-depth knowledge of energy efficiency.
- Proven ability of expanding client base through identifying sales leads and customer energy needs.
- Proficiency in Excel and other analytical software tools.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills in English.
- Understanding of building efficiency / sustainability solutions.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
