Job Title : Project Coordinator - Construction
Location : Milwaukee, WI
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team.
Job Summary : The Project Coordinator will assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.
The Project Coordinator will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules.
- Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information.
- Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Ensure that clients’ needs are met as the project evolves.
- Monitor and track project progress and handle any issues that arise.
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
- Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers.
- Use tools to monitor working hours, plans, and expenditures.
- Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (., contracts and terms of the agreement).
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
- Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of project management software (., MS Project, Primavera).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
