Pay Range : $45 - $50 / hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities :

  • Note -Remote; Local candidates Columbus, OH- 43215.
  • Execute on the S&I data governance strategic imperatives, in support of business priorities and in accordance with the TIS Data Governance standards, operating model, and roadmap.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with business and Technology partners, communicating key data governance activities, strategies, data impacts, and quality issues.
  • Partner with Data Engineers, Architects, Data Product Owners, and Integrated Reporting, as well as other business / Technology organizations that use S&I data, to improve the integrity and usability of configuration data assets, working to improve data quality and accuracy, validity, reliability, timeliness, relevance, completeness, accessibility, and compliance.
  • Consult with SEPMs that possess deep knowledge of application data, understanding how it is used within business processes and impact on desired business outcomes.
  • Define and apply data quality validation rules, thresholds, and service level agreements to monitor health of data, ensuring business process and / or system changes are appropriately assessed for impact to ensure integrity of data over time.
  • Perform root cause analysis for data quality issues, understanding business implications and communicating resolution approach and status to manage business partner expectations.
  • Strengthen cross-functional partnerships with other business areas to improve collaboration and transparency around data issue identification and resolution.
  • Maintain documentation of data assets so certified data can be accessed and translated for usage by end-users, as well as assessed for impact of any upstream / downstream changes.
  • Support the development of standards to identify critical data issues in terms of business impact, risk or opportunity and ensure data policy enforcement and compliance.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience :

  • Skills- High knowledge of metrics applicable to data and associated analytical methods, company databases and their integration.
  • Experience in Configuration (CMDB) and Asset Management practices.
  • Experience in working in an ITIL-oriented organization.
  • Proficiency in using CMDB tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or other similar platforms.
  • Experience profiling data, detecting data quality issues, and defining data quality business rules.
  • Proficiency in data governance tools, SharePoint administration, and change management and Strong experience in data profiling, analysis, and governance strategies.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a data governance, data analytics, or data management role.
  • Experience with analytically intense projects, which confirm common understanding of the data.
  • Experience profiling data, detecting data quality issues, and defining data quality business rules.
  • Experience with data governance tools including Master Data Management, data dictionaries, and data lineage.
  • Experience in change management and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated expertise in bridging communication between IT and the business.
  • High knowledge of metrics applicable to data and associated analytical methods, company databases and their integration.

  • Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
  • Planning and management skills encompassing scope of work, time estimation, and resource assignment.
  • Exhibits interpersonal skills and effective communication, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Assist our Enterprise Stakeholders with data tracking, governance, classification, security, lifecycle management, privacy and compliance, access and authorization, transparency, and accountability.
  • Data Management of all attributes related to data governance, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and availability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data management policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Implement data governance strategies to ensure completeness and accuracy of information and compliance with standards are measurable and sustainable.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency within the ITSM framework.
  • Implement tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance data management practices and client data management.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to align ITSM initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to end-users, IT teams, and other stakeholders on Data Management practices and policies.
