SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You'll prepare specialty drinks, assist with food preparation, and receive orders and payments, all while providing excellent experiences for our customers.

JOB DUTIES :

• Accurately operate a register / POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Maintain a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all customers and co-workers .
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and specialty beverages per brand standards
• Prepares and serves food items in line with location standards
• Count, organize, and balance the cash drawer, fill out the cashier slip, and make deposits
• Adheres to Timewise's cash handling policies and procedures
• Set up and break down the coffee bar, stations, or store including cleaning and sanitizing
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
• Stock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, service ware, and condiments
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
• Other duties as assigned by management

SKILLS REQUIRED :

• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Previous cash handling experience preferred
• Previous experience as a barista preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is preferred
• The ability to work collaboratively with a team required
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and perform physical tasks such as bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
• Must be willing to cross-train for other tasks such as food preparation
• Basic math & counting skills required
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
• Must follow the required dress code as assigned
• Able to read and communicate in English and able to follow recipes
• Able to complete Food Handling Certification as required
