Right At School is currently looking for a People Operations Lead. Summarize position expectations and description.

What you’ll do and achieve :

The successful candidate is a self-starter who is eager to expand their skills within Human Resources in support of the full team member lifecycle, and likes to get things done.

They are resourceful and can adapt in a fast paced environment.

With a focus on both tactical and project-oriented HR Operations activities, they will work on a variety of HR functions such as :

  • Serve as lead for the People Operations team members
  • Administer and leverage HR systems and processes to ensure data accuracy and compliance, as well to ensure team member records accurate and up to date
  • Manage onboarding and screening of new hires
  • Lead People Operations projects
  • Create, update and maintain employee related data and reports
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of HR best practices
  • Finding efficiencies that better serve the organization and the individual employees
  • Document and maintain processes for People Operations functions

Requirements

What we’d like you to bring to RAS :

  • 2-4 years of experience in an HR role
  • 2-4 years of experience using and administering HR information
  • 1-2 years experience onboarding and / or hiring for mid-to-large organizations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to collaborate and contribute to a strong, cross-functional team
  • Self-directed learner with a can-do’ attitude, who enjoys going above and beyond
  • Strong customer service skills with ability to think quickly and creatively to solve problems
  • Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in handling sensitive situations and the ability to keep sensitive information confidential
  • Proven work ethic and sound judgment
  • Preference will be given to applicants with experience in Benefits administration
