PURPOSE : This position is responsible for providing exceptional guest service and quality coffee and food products to guests at Caribou inside of Nickelodeon Universe.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES :
- Perform necessary tasks in setting up Caribou and serving food and drink items
- Prepare Caribou drinks to with focus on quality, accuracy and consistency when making drinks in Caribou
- Ensure Caribou standards are met concerning all drink and food products
- Responsible for following food safety policies and procedures per the MN Health Code
- Maintain knowledge of seasonal coffees, drinks and food items
- Maintain product knowledge of food items, drink items and ingredients
- Utilizing suggestive selling techniques to increase sales
- Provide outstanding guest service by greeting guests courteously, uncovering their needs, and giving polite parting remarks
- Ensure standards of personal hygiene, food safety and sanitation are met and maintained
- Oversee safety and cleanliness of selling area
- Answer general guest questions or direct guests to resources for answers
- Ring and count out funds accurately and timely following established cash handling procedures
- Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions and discounts
- May assist in other departments as needed, such as but not limited to, rides and retail
- Regular, reliable and consistent attendance
- Additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS :
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must have outstanding guest service skills
- Must possess basic math skills
- Must have ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays and some late evenings for private events
PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES :
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
- Previous Barista, food service and guest service experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of computers is preferred

- Handle larger items such as boxes or packages - Infrequently, 10% of time
