Visit www.launchdsf.com Job Overview The Digital Storefront (DSF) Business Development Associate role supports the sales process for new DSF clients and contributes to revenue growth initiatives under the guidance of senior team members.
This role will assist with identifying and engaging DSF referral or reseller partners.
Responsibilities Support the refinement of the DSF targeting model based on input from senior leadership and the Product team.
Learn about DSF, its capabilities, its competitive advantages, its integrations, and its architecture.
Maintain and update the sales pipeline in the CRM platform under the guidance of senior team members.
Document sales activity notes in the CRM and support sales reporting and dashboard maintenance on a weekly basis.
Learn about and track the community FI landscape, DSF competitors, as well as broader banking, lending, and fintech trends.
Research prospects before meetings, prepare relevant questions to learn about client needs, support DSF presentations and demos, and follow up with prospective clients and partners within 48 hours of meetings.
Learn to analyze financial institution performance using NCUA and FDIC data.
Contribute feedback to internal teams, including marketing (lead optimization), product (competitive information), and implementation and support (simplification opportunities).
Assist in building, proofing, and delivering accurate, compelling, and professional proposals.
Support the development of ROI models and net yield analysis (DSF has the .xls models).
Participate in negotiations and support senior team members in bringing opportunities to signature in a timely manner.
Support Client Services in documenting work to be performed for clients, helping ensure smooth transitions to the implementation / project team and strong client satisfaction.
Attend prospect meetings virtually and in person as needed.
Represent DSF at conferences (including booths) when needed. Experience & Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in fintech, financial services, or B2B sales (or relevant internship experience) Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience Developing ability to communicate key concepts to multiple levels of internal and client leadership (i.e., C-Suite, lending, marketing, data, digital).
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build professional relationships based on trust and respect.
Aptitude for learning demo skills to highlight the consumer experience and the financial institution experience using the DSF platform.
Developing negotiation, decision making, problem solving and communication skills.
Foundational knowledge of financial and / or payment solutions technology including systems, applications and banking practices, or strong willingness to learn.
Ability to work effectively as part of integrated teams.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, employees, clients and external partners.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Slack, HubSpot, and PowerBI (or willingness to learn), coupled with AI familiarity.
