Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support our actuarial functions and enhance data quality across the organization.
In this role, you will work closely with the actuarial team to prepare reports, conduct thorough analyses of internal and third-party data feeds, and develop tools to ensure data accuracy.
You will identify and rectify gaps in data availability, coverage, and accuracy, playing a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our datasets.
Collaboration with various business units, including underwriting, compliance, claims, and legal, is essential to deliver requested reports and support product pricing, experience analysis, and rate filings.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a commitment to data quality, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Work with data, prepares reports, performs actuarial functions as directed by supervisor.
- Conduct deep dive into internal and 3 rd party data feeds and create tools to ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Identify root cause of gaps in data availability, coverage and accuracy and rectify identified data deficiencies.
- Closely collaborate with actuarial team in support of product pricing, experience analysis, valuation or rate filing.
- Closely work with other business units (underwriting, compliance, claims, legals, etc), to provide reports requested.

- Proficiency in Microsoft offices, PBI and SQL
- Strong analytical skills

Education and Experience
- 1+ years of data analysis experience in insurance industry preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred (Data Science, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or other related fields)
