The Carmel Boyer School of Business at Baldwin Wallace University and the Finance, Analytics, and Economics Department are seeking applications for adjunct professors in Business Analytics or Operations Research with a focus on analytics beginning January 2025.
Successful candidates will be expected to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in analytics, operations, and introductory-level MIS courses.
Faculty members will deliver exceptional instruction across various programs, including online platforms. Conducting daytime, in-person courses is needed, in addition to evening adjunct support.
We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in data management, artificial intelligence, and data analytics.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in business analytics, data analytics, introductory MIS, and related fields.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students while actively participating in academic and departmental endeavors.
- Contribute to the establishment and cultivation of industry partnerships.
Required Qualifications :
Candidates with a PH.D. or DBA in Business Analytics, or a master’s degree in business or analytics and at least 18 credit hours of doctoral-level analytics courses will be considered to teach MBA level courses.
An MBA with business analytics education or experience is required for undergraduate teaching.
Strong teaching abilities and a dedication to shaping future business leaders.
Desired / Preferred Skills and Qualifications :
- Demonstrated success in college-level teaching, and / or industry or national lab experience.
- Experience in mentoring students academically.
- Active involvement in professional activities and organizations.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a diverse campus community.
- Industry experience in data analysis or related fields is advantageous.
