Job Description
The Cash Application Specialist position will support the collection department. This role will ensure the Company receives payments for goods and services, and records these transactions accordingly, while securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts, and resolving any discrepancies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cash application Process daily from lockbox / ach and credit cards daily to Customer accounts
- Process intercompany cash entries
- Reconcile cash accounts and investigate unapplied payments
- Perform account reconciliations
- Maintain accounts receivable files and records
- Assist in monthly closing activities
- Investigate and resolve inquiries
- Assist in general financial management and analysis
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent required. College Degree preferred
- At least 2 years of accounting experience in a professional setting required
- Detail oriented with strong analytical ability
- Ability to be well organized and able to multi-task; meet deadlines
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills; knowledge of pivot tables, data queries, etc.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information with discretion and professionalism
- Ability to effectively communicate with people of diverse backgrounds and employment levels within and outside the organization
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English language
- Self-motivated and able to get daily tasks completed with minimal supervision
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred
Additional Information
Hybrid position, requiring at least one day in the Cary, NC office per week.

The US base pay range for this full-time position is $20.00 per hour to $23.00 per hour + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
