A leading Chemical Production firm is currently seeking an experienced and driven Sr. Chemical Production Manager to join their team in their state-of-the-art facility in the Hartford, CT area.
As a member of this dynamic organization, you will have the opportunity to work with leading professionals while ensuring that all production activities are executed efficiently and effectively.
The Sr. Chemical Production Manager will have the following responsibilities :
- Lead all production activities and ensure compliance with industry and company standards
- Utilize LEAN manufacturing techniques / principles to drive continuous improvement within the facility
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders in cross functional departments such as Engineering, Finance, Safety, Quality and Procurement
- Ensure production operations are in line with cGMP / GMP standards and similar best practices
- Ensure EH&S compliance
- Develop, implement and uphold operational KPIs
- Strengthen continuous improvement process
- Utilize LEAN principles
The Sr. Chemical Production Manager will have the following qualifications :
- 5+ years' experience leading a production team in a manufacturing environment
- S. in chemical engineering, chemistry or equivalent background
- Working knowledge of Six Sigma and LEAN manufacturing principles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with preventative / predictive maintenance programs
- GMP or cGMP manufacturing experience a plus
- Specialty chemical manufacturing experience
