Job Description : Alphacare RX is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing pharmaceutical care, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Medication Dispensing : Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients.
• Patient Counseling : Provide detailed counseling on medication usage, storage, potential side effects, and interactions.
• Regulatory Compliance : Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
• Controlled Substances Management : Maintain accurate records and manage controlled substances responsibly.
• Staff Training : Oversee and train pharmacy staff to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Collaborative Care : Work with healthcare providers to manage and improve patient care.
• Inventory Management : Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock.
• Insurance Processing : Handle insurance claims processing and reimbursement efficiently.
• Customer Service : Address and resolve patient inquiries and concerns professionally.
• Other duties as needed or required.

Job Requirements :

• Must - Have : A valid pharmacist license in the state of New Jersey.
• Must - Have : Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Preferred : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.

Skills :

• Strong knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Proficiency with pharmacy management software systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Bi-lingual (Spanish speaking)
• Experience with inventory management and cost-saving measures. Knowledge of micro-merchants a plus.
• Proven track record of managing a pharmacy team effectively.
• Prior Independent pharmacy experience.
