Position : Sr. Design Engineer
Position Overview
The Sr. Design Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of various equipment and machines for manufacturing processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD and manufacturing, and possess excellent engineering and design skills.
The role requires someone who is detail-oriented, innovative, and able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of new equipment and machines, considering factors such as functionality, performance, cost, and manufacturability
- Create 2D / 3D models and drawings using CAD software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure designs meet project goals
- Conduct feasibility studies and make recommendations for design improvements
- Perform testing and analysis to validate design performance and functionality
- Optimize designs for efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all designs
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a design engineering role
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Experience with manufacturing processes and equipment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience with production and OEM is a plus
- Knowledge of fan and blower design is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
