MIAMI FAMILY SEEKING NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER

Overview :

MIAMI, FL (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) - A busy family in the Coconut Grove area is seeking a FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY / HOUSEHOLD MANAGER for their 2 children;

a 3.5-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy. The perfect candidate has an energetic personality, is computer savvy, can work autonomously, and is punctual.

Hours are Monday / Wednesday / Thursday from 10 : 30 am - 6 : 30 pm, then Tuesday / Friday from 1 - 9 pm. The days / hours can be flexible for the right candidate.

Flexibility for date nights is a plus!

The children will both be in school from 8 am - 2 : 30 pm daily. Candidates who can show longevity in previous roles. Have a good understanding of consistency and set strong boundaries who will be on the same page and act as a partner with the parents.

They are looking for a candidate who is honest, straightforward, and has willingness to be supportive of the parent's boundaries and expectations.

Duties include caring for the children, taking them to and from after-school activities(swim lessons, etc.), tidying in between cleaning staff’s visits, including, but not limited to loading and unloading the dishwasher, keeping the surfaces clean, keeping the kitchen and bathrooms stocked with supplies, doing grocery shopping twice a week, shopping for household supplies, walking the dog, washing the cars, putting away laundry / dry-cleaning, handling returns and other personal errands, coordinating vendors, house repairs and contractors, and other one-off household tasks.

There is a medium-sized dog in the home. Some days the parents would like candidates to walk the dog in the afternoon, and occasionally feed the dog when they cannot.

Candidates should be comfortable swimming with the children as the family has a pool in the home. Candidates will need their own reliable vehicle for driving the children and the family will reimbursed for mileage.

There are cleaning staff who come to the home 3 days / week. Mom is currently a SAHM, however, is looking to return to work and seeking truly dependable and kind care.

The family doesn't have a preference for vaccinations but prefers a science-minded candidate. Benefits include 5 federal holidays + 20 PTO days (10 days at the family's discretion and 10 at the nanny's discretion).

Start date is Sept 16th. Pay is $30-35 / hr gross via payroll.

Qualifications :

BA / BS college degree AA in related field of study

CPR / First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

A passion for working with children

Two+ years childcare experience

Excellent work and personal references

U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership Fluent in English / Bilingual a plus

Competent swimmer

Non-smoker

Willing to go through extensive Background Check

Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

Willingness to show proof of immunizations

No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
